TXTC — Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
TXTC is operated by KSD Inc., an Ontario corporation ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use TXTC and how we use it. It supplements our general site Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
• Account: your email address (for sign-in).
• Subscription & payments: handled by Stripe; we receive limited identifiers and status, not full card numbers.
• Content you submit ("Inputs"): pasted text/AI-chat exports, website URLs, and YouTube video URLs. To generate study material we may read page text, fetch captions, or transcribe audio. Transcripts and scraped text are processed transiently to produce your output and are not republished; we retain the generated study output associated with your account.
• Usage: feature usage and monthly quota counters.
• Optional YouTube connection (only if you use contests): channel info + a token to verify subscriptions.
3. How We Use It
To provide the Service (generate study material from your Inputs), operate accounts and subscriptions, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Service Providers
We share data only as needed with: Supabase (auth/database), Stripe (payments), OpenAI (transcription and AI generation of study material), Firecrawl (website content retrieval), and Vercel (hosting). If you connect YouTube, Google/YouTube is used for subscription verification. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Retention
We keep your account, generated output, and usage records for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. Source transcripts/scraped text are not stored beyond what is needed to generate your output.
6. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Contact us using the details below.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
TXTC is intended for general study use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Real-money contests are separately restricted to adults (18+).
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date.
